About Me
I'm an Irish astrophysicist studying how exoplanets, planets that orbit stars outside of our Solar System, form and evolve.
Research Interests
My research focuses on observations of atmospheric escape, using both space- and ground-based telescopes. My main focus is working on the STELa program, a multi-cycle NASA/Hubble Space Telescope program aimed at understanding how hydrogen escape affects the closest transiting planets. I'm also interested in developing new techniques to observe smaller exoplanet atmospheres using ground-based instruments here at Carnegie.
